National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Last year, the federal government established September 30 as Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day was already recognized as Orange Shirt Day, started in 2013 by Phyliss Webstad, a residential school survivor. Depending on where you are, smudges, walks, talks, and different gatherings may be among scheduled acts and activities – or you could take a few moments to read these calls-to-action (of which this National Day is #80).
