Do You Have It In You? (digital media and collage, 2022) by Rachel Gilbert.
Situated in Ktaqmkuk, Gilbert is an interdisciplinary artist whose symbolist work explores her identity, experiences, and ideas of home(s). Since receiving a BFA in Visual Arts in 2020 and a Graduate Certificate in Museum and Gallery Studies in 2021, Rachel has worked with several local art spaces focusing on community programming, inclusion, and outreach.

There is something gloriously epic about this island. It adds incredible production value if you are willing to spend long days out in the cold to get the shots right. Newfoundland is a broad canvas and I want to make ambitious brush strokes, so it’s a good fit.
