Nora Kelly is an illustrator, oil painter, and muralist based in Montreal, Quebec. She lives with her partner, an Argentinian tattoo-artist and muralist, and her Boston Terrier named Squid. On the weekend, she sings and plays guitar in her alt-country band called the Nora Kelly Band.
I do see the beauty in Emma Hooper’s Our Homesick Songs, I do. But I have been hearing these sad old tunes my whole life and I am just about ready to throw the accordion into the ocean.
