“In a world dominated by virtual interactions and fast consumption of images, this exhibition seeks to slow down the spectator and reconnect them with the physical and sensory world,” the notes for the newly opened Sensory Movements explain. “This watercolour painting incorporates transparent fabrics, the exhibition allows visitors to reshape and transform their surroundings. It creates a living environment where the boundaries between art and nature blur, offering a tactile and visual journey that mirrors the organic movements found in the natural world. The installation seeks to evoke a sense of connection between humans and the environment, inviting visitors to actively participate in the experience of creation and change. By allowing them to touch and manipulate the fabrics, the installation symbolizes our ability to influence, move, and reshape the landscapes we inhabit. The layering of fabric and artwork reflects the complexity of nature, while the ambient sound adds another layer of depth, echoing the rhythm of life in nature.”

Raianny Queiroz is a Brazilian visual artist, educator and architect with a Master’s degree in Art. She studies identity and belonging through places, inspired by nature and the environment, transforming them into “imaginative landscapes”. Her creative process has included installation space, watercolor painting and engraving. Since this year she has been a member of the IceberGallery Board of Directors (2025). In 2023, she worked as the Coordinator of the Arts and Culture Center at the IFRS, Brazil, where she managed project management, event coordination, and cultural administration with a focus on cultivating creativity, supporting student engagement and building community.
